Studio VBK

Studio Culture

Situated at the crossroads of craft, design and communication, STUDIO VBK believes in the grand potential of good ideas.

With a focus on information and graphic design, the Singapore-based studio has worked with institutions, non-profits, publishers and corporate clients since 2011. The studio has expanded its practice by leading innovative walking tours of the city with a focus on the intersections of design, history and culture.

Principal Designer

Born in Singapore in 1984, Vikas Kailankaje holds a Master of Architecture (2010) from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Interior Architecture and Design (2004) from Temasek Polytechnic. Vikas founded STUDIO VBK in 2011 to couple his keen interest in the communication arts with his formal training in spatial design.

School + Community

STUDIO VBK devotes a large amount of time to teaching and consultation for non-profit projects that would benefit from design know-how.
